This past weekend, I was selected to deliver the student address to graduates of The Mason School of Business at The College of William and Mary. The rules of the speech were pretty straightforward. The speech needed to be roughly 4 minutes in length and be applicable for all of those receiving a degree. During the ceremony, they were going to be conferring degrees for Masters of Accounting (MAcc), Master of Science in Business Analytics (BSBA), and Masters of Business Administration (MBA). I was receiving my MBA. Below is the video portion of my speech.
What advice would you give to today’s graduates? Would you give specific advice to a graduate who was going to go into sales?
